Kick Six. It was my first time in Jurden Hair as an Alabama fan. Massive game, I got a last second call and drove from Atlanta, ran to the stadium, and got in my seat as they were setting up for kick off. It was probably our most talented team in the Saban era to this point, and we just had so much going for us. I was so involved in the whole bit with my journey to get there, being on the second row behind our sideline on about the fifteen yard line, and we looked good for most of the first half and then Auburn rallied back. We fought back in the end only to watch the unfortunate miracle unfold. it happed in the endzone I was sitting near, and just crushed me. I drove there by myself, sat by myself, left by myself, and rode home by myself hearing "Go to hell Alabama" and the reverse of Rammer Jammer. It was a tough one all around.
The A&M loss was tough/jaw dropping as well. Had a big tailgate, a lot of money involved, spent all day just enjoying ourselves, first game big game at Bryant-Denny for my wife and I. It was just set up to be a good day, and from the get go we were behind and I just couldn't believe what I was seeing. Got on a high when Coop broke free for that long touchdown as I was right on the goal line in the student section on that walkway when he came running at us. The interception in the end sealed it and it was more of a mouth dropping loss than hurtful.
