Ok...terry might consolidate...but if he doesn’t....
Would it really be better to win the NIT or be eliminated in first round of NCAA...which 32-36 teams will be.......(of course could get eliminated in first round of NIT...). Could have 4-6 more games to be televised
*******And you can’t say..be in final four in football and lose first game or win Independence Bowl .....
Because...with the NCAA...all 68-64 teams arent the best because some conferences get a team in that’s really not one of best teams in country...*******
And what affect would it have on AJs job...to win the NIT.....

I think not initially better...but long run... hoist the banner next year!
And should be a major consideration on AJs job for more time.... certainly another year...

Speaking strictly in the context of where the team is right now, normally I'd say it's better to win the NIT for no other reason than the extra practice time. However, there's a good influx of new names hitting the floor next season which changes the story a bit.

Hell the fact Bama is a #1 seed in the NIT is really pretty funny.

Is that not always the case with the first four out? I believe so.

I know....I really like AJ...but i see some good round ballers...that just dont have the "it"...and that’s probably coaching...

It's my opinion Pearl will out recruit and coach Avery. If the powers that be aren't careful he will own this state in a short period of time.
Sure he is a nice guy but can he take the program to the next level? I think not.

JMO but Bruce (I'm grillin" Pearl is the 2nd best coach in the SEC behind Big Blue John at UK. I doubt another school in the SEC would hire Avery.

A&M is about to bring the bank to get into the race as well. I believe UGA will get start to excel going forward so that leaves Bama, USCe, and Vandy sloshing around the bottom.
