šŸ€ What is this I'm hearing about Allbarn writers slandering Oats recently?

I've seen a few people mention they were saying something disparaging about Coach Oats recently. Can someone catch me up?

I haven't seen it either, but they may be jumping on the national media wagon after Oats went after Coach K (Oats called K later to apologize). Since then Bama hasn't played above .500 (1 -2, I think).

They aren't. It's about the suspension against ETSU. I'll tell you the story a little later.

The two guys you're referring to here are Jay Tate and Josh Moon. Jay still covers Auburn, Josh has moved over to a political beat though his allegiance is well known due to his time covering Auburn like Jay. Jay started the story and Josh read it and repeated what Jay had said. Then it made its way around the 'net.

I saw this a few days ago and didn't even consider posting the story here. My only thought was "Auburn guys are starting rumors like again?" I didn't entertain that thought long. Nor should you. It's pretty easy to see why and it fits with how they've acted in the past.

This stems from Rojas and Petty being benched for the game for the game Tuesday night. That suspension, which Oats called "internal discipline," was from what happened around the Western Kentucky game. Undisciplined, bordering on defiant, is the easiest way I know to describe that little altercation.

Jay Tate decided he would tell his own story. His story was Oats using a racial slur (N) against Petty and he said Rojas came to Petty's defense which led to both suspensions.

I often use the term "logic test" around here. I'd encourage you to do the same.

" if one say something is true enough times... then everyone will began to believe it"

Dont put anything past an AU person.

If Oats have used such replulsive language. The player should have quit on the spot.

These day and times if that was said it would be reported by more places than your rivals mouth pieces.

Not the topic of the thread but related, Petty has not been getting it done so it would not surprise me if Oats is trying to light a fire under him. It has been a head scratcher because Petty should be doing all he can do his senior year to elevate his game so he can make it to the next level. His D play has been decent but offense has been bad.

Maybe a topic for a different thread but not sure I ever heard the details of that story if you ever want to share it. I put nothing by the Barn same with Fulmer when it comes to their hate for Bama.
In Christian terms, considering it's the holiday season...

They, Auburn, brought in "women of ill repute." Cyrus was caught up in it and they, literally, tried to leverage that visit and that weekend against him. Extortion, blackmail. I don't care what you call the whole thing. "We're going to let this out" was their line and it put CK in a bad position: just look at his parents and you'll understand.

Bama found out, let him know, and then CK let his parents know what was going on. Hence, the last minute "flip."

Now their line is "we were just telling him he'd take away from his brothers playing time."

Everything about AU is classless....period

AU people writing about anything.....negative about anybody else....
When...they have a football field named after Pat Dye
Hire a BBall coach fired by TN...and exiled by the conference...
And many other examples
You've got on the field and off the field with a lot of folks: on both sides.

Take Pat Dye who was a major contributor the John Croyle's ranch. Bo Jackson and his work after the tornado's.

I think I recall that. Something to do with a party at a club featuring some D-list celebrity from an F-tier reality show.
