first it was Garcia
then Trevor Knight
then Bo Wallace
then Cardale Jones
next one to watch out Kelly

Both Garcia,Knight and Cardale .. had games of their lifetime.

Both Kelly and Wallace I would not say had great games against us.

only successful ones (later on in playing career) have been Manziel and Newton

so true becos Ole Miss looks like average team and should not have beaten Bama.

Okl, Utah, OSU, Ole Miss (2014) .. I can understand

Auburn, Ole Miss (2015), SCar, ... I cannot understand

TAM ... happened multiple times so I cannot decide on those

When a team is playing a superior opponent they focus more. It's why coaches like to be the underdog going into the game. They can establish a rallying cry for their team in order to get their full undivided attention. When you're dealing with kids it is very hard to keep their attention and keep them focused. To a lot of these players they don't live and die by the results on Saturday like many fans do. And the ones who do are normally the ones who end up playing on Sundays.

The Garcia's, Wallaces, Knight's and other QB's who had lights out games against Bama played at their highest level because of who they were playing and also the fact that the media played them to be the underdog and having "no chance" to win the game. That goes a long way in our kids prepare and play a game. It is no surprise after Ole Mist beat us they "came back down to earth" in the next two games. They struggled against Vandy and got completely blown out by Florida. They could sustain the concentration and level of play they did against us. They also didn't the gift plays handed to them on a silver platter either. It's tough playing with a target on your back. You are every team's championship game.

When did TAM beat us except in 2012.. Manzell had a big game against us in 2013, but we won. The only other time that I am familiar with where we lost to them was the 1968 Cotton Bwl.

I do think being the underdog helps these kids but also our team. It is hard to be consistent every week. Not an excuse, it is what it is.

However, I may be in the minority, but it just don't bother me that much that the only teams that beat 'Bama now, they ALL played an out of your mind, we got a few breaks game. This is the norm & not the exception.

We are a lot of teams litmus test of progress. If they can hang with us then they've "arrived" on some level. It's just the price you pay for being on top for so long.

I actually think Cardelle will finish strong and has a NFL career ahead of him... But yeah, there's been a handful of QB's just have "one of those games" on us. Hopefully those games are behind us this year

UGA probably asking themselves this after JC's performance last week

Did you see Grier against OM?

The freshman Lock at Mizzou looked damn good against SC in his first start ever (of course it was SC)

I don't consider Kelly's performance against Bama to be that impressive at all. Flukey and lucky are better descriptors in my mind.
