🏈 What Happened to the SEC fixing the schedule?!

This is crazy, our last six SEC games in a row are against teams coming off the bye week? I thought the SEC was supposed to to re-work that. I guess not. Oh well, on the other hand, teams are often flat coming off the bye. Let's hope that's the case with our opponents.

The official SEC schedule has not been released. There are a couple schedules out for the teams but, they aren't final.

Nothing is final until the SEC schedule is released. BTW, it is behind on time for it to be out. The reason for the delay is that it is being modified so as to not unduly burden one team.

But the reception of schools being asked to move games next season has generally been something along the lines of, "Alabama is coming off a national championship. Why would I change my schedule to accommodate them?"

The SEC dictated the schedule and now they are letting the schools dictate the changes. They don't have the balls to just go ahead and make the changes.

The SEC has announced that the official schedule would be released during, or just after, the Destin meetings. Which will be held the first week in June this year. Do NOT expect to see ANY changes.

Its pretty easy for those other crappy ADs to sit there and say "why help them" just because its not happening to them. I hope we start adopting a mefirst attitude in regard to other programs, just so they can learn a lesson.

A picture keeps popping up in my head while reading this thread. It is of Franny on the ATM sideline in the 2003 OU game. It is a still shot from the telecast with the scoreboard across the top of the screen. It reads OU 77 ATM 0 with over 5 minutes left in the THIRD quarter.

I would like to see some of these teams that don't give a **** about Bama on the receiving end of similar a** kickings from Bama this year.

By the way, on the day before that game, I told my barber, who is a Bama fan also, that I hoped OU beat them 100-0. It would have been 100-0 if OU had not let up. The final was 77-0 so OU did not score in the last 20+ minutes of the game.

I remember it was one year, they were beating the hell out of A&M and when the score started to get out of hand they would play "Sweet Home Alabama" after every score. My respect went up for Oklahoma so much that day lol
