But to answer your question...it's alive and well where I work. We give each other shit all the time and call each other names/derogatory terms daily. None of it is serious so nobody gets upset.

We have some that is over right rude. But Rickles could be rude right into the face of the person as their are laughing. Just look at any of Dean Martin Roast Show. It didn't matter who he did it to, because every one he did to knew it was just an act.
