This was written by a local friend of mine. The thing is that he is a huge UT fan. :)

When Nick Saban took over at Alabama, fans were literally beside themselves with joy. The once proud program with hundreds of thousands of loyal fans across the south was on the verge of becoming respectable again after nearly two decades of bad coaching, probation, and ultimately bad football.

Turns out, those fans were more than justified in their happiness as Saban had the team in the SEC Championship Game in just his second season on the job. Saban's third season on the job brought Alabama another SEC and National Championship.

Saban immediately brought an injection of talent along with him in 2007. Alabama has won the mythical Recruiting National Championship three straight times under Saban. Along with his incredible defensive coaching abilities, Saban's prowess for recruiting the biggest and the best is a key to Alabama's rise from the college football ashes.

That's a nice article and all showcasing some of our talent over the years. But just like the comment from Bill in that link, I find little to do with the title of the article. Im confused.

what should nick saban do? should he admit his mistakes? should he say he is a champion? should he keep oversigning? should he order pizzas to gene chizik's house? should he make himself a small version of the statue and put on the hood of his car? should he buy a baby elephant? should he die his hair red? should he take anger management classes? should he retire and sell used cars?

we don't care coach.. YOU ROCK!!

JUST DO IT!

CNS should continue to do what he does, which is what he has been doing and what we all expect him to do.

What the typical Bama fan wants is to be relevant in the conversations about who is the best, about who will be champion. Years like this one past don't drive us to the clifts like herds of Crimson Lemmings because 1) we know football and know that no team will win it every year, and 2) we are savvy football fans and know that what CNS has/is/will do will put us in a spot to have the ball bounce our way to get to the title game.

So to asnswer the question posed in the title of the article; Saban should do what Saban does (and we should support him).
