🏈 What did Reuben Foster do??????

Could also be a case of the male nurse feeling intimidated by all the testosterone in the line, and maybe a little jelly of all these guys about to make exponentially more money than him for a sport, and any slightly agitated questioning would set him off.

Rueben is a fairly easy-going dude off the field with a big smile. He doesn't strike me as a guy that would just pop off like that.

Could be that he was holding his piss for the drug test and was impatient because of a full bladder.

Not sure where you heard that, because Foster is well known for being crazy and a loose cannon. Sure, probably easy going when fans are kissing his ass, but he definitely had an edge to him.

Really? Never heard of one off field issue with him. What did he do to gain the rep of being a loose cannon, off the field? ( Not being a smart ass, just truly curious.)

He is just crazy, ultra alpha male. I'm not saying he just randomly walks up and beats people up or goes out searching for trouble, nothing like that at all, but he's not some lighthearted and laidback guy either. Heard a few stories about him beating up his high school coach way back in the day while he was at Troup, and have heard other locker room stories about him getting pretty wild. He commands respect because of that loose cannon mentality and people don't challenge him due to that uncertainty. From what I have heard, he sounds a lot like Al Blades from Miami when they describe him in Da U Part II.

I'm from around Reuben's stomping grounds and I've never heard this about his deeds or temperament. His junior year he did transfer from Troup County, but his coach was fired because he allegedly asked a player to transfer from Lanett to West Point so he could play for him. Reuben wasn't thrilled, he was actually close to his coach, and decided to transfer to Auburn for his senior campaign. Around here, players and fans knew he was a freak athlete, even as a freshman at Troup but always a very likable person. A friend of mine who is a deeply disturbed barner fan went to a lot of his high school games in west Opelika and was always complimentary of Reubens attitude. If anything, I thought he tried too hard to be well liked and his recruitment came off that way.

Once again, I didn't mean it as he was a bad citizen going around and breaking the law. I clarified when I mentioned he's an alpha like Ray Lewis, a Vontez Burfect, a guy that has a few screws loose that no one messes with (which you basically gotta be a little crazy to play the sport at a high level these days). I mean, I can try and get some testimonials from guys around him if I need to continue to clarify, but it's known in the locker room he's a rough and tough dude. I will say again that I meant nothing bad about him, but he's not a simple jolly carefree guy.

I still consider him a Georgia boy, though Alabama tries to take credit for him. Just another great player from our state.

I think Saban's comments about Rueben being ignored several times by medical staff leading to his agitation, and the fact that the one staffer that DID finally respond to him was a walking dick, were telling.

Remember, there's always 2 sides to every story. And agents/publicists of teams lower in the 1st round with friends in the media sensationalized only one side of the story, hoping it would cause him to slide.

Good on Reuben and Saban for getting out in front of it.

The story I've heard was the group he was in had to wait about three and a half hours. There were players missing meetings with teams, missing other appointments, etc., and there were several in the group that were upset.

Reuben, like many in his shoes, had an issue and voiced his opinion. I probably wouldn't have lasted an hour.

Which is why he came home since he missed most of his interview meetings...

Makes sense.

"It's well known."

"...never surfaced in college."

These two things completely contradict each other.

Your comment makes no sense, because I never said he was out committing crimes and raising hell, I specifically said that. Tim Williams' drug tests never became a public thing either, yet they happened, he admitted it. For those that knew about Foster before Alabama, he was known as a little bit troubled and immature as Rivals stated in the clip I posted. Stories out of the locker room and from players alongside him have talked about how crazy he is. I simply do not understand the coddling our guys get from our fans, like they just turn their head and think everything is 100% peachy and we have nothing but choir boys on our team. I'm not dogging Foster at all, so please understand that, as he was always very nice to my family when we saw him, but considering him a laid back low key fella is wrong.

Good call, instead of missing a few meetings, get sent home and miss them all!!

Makes no sense. He f*cked up. Doubt it will cost him much but either way it's silly and of "the group" he's the only one that took it far enough to look like a dummy.

You'd think the NFL would be able to plan this shit better. How long have they been doing these combines...
