🏈 What are some of your favorite bama plays of all time

For me, and I saw them both in person, was The Sack and The Strip. I was supposed to be selling drinks at Legion Field when Biscuit blew Beurlien up. I was a junior at UA and sitting in the Loge Level of the Superdome when Teague hawked down Thomas.

A couple of others would be The Kick, Julio's catch and run against LSwho in 09, and Trent's run against the Barn in 11 even though he didn't score. That was probably Gary and Verne's best call!

The Greatest Play that Never Happened

I loved Keith Jackson's reaction to this (as you can tell from my screen name) when I watched the replay, but was lucky enough to see it the first time in person. When one of my sons was little and would stay home sick from school, he would ask to watch this game although he wasn't born yet when it happened. My dad also likes to tell a story about me and "the kick" game. For years he has called me on game days and said something like "hey, what are you doing? you know Alabama plays today," jokingly of course. So when he called me that day just after the kick went through and asked me what I was doing, I answered, "standing on the coffee table." :hyper:

This reminds of the time my wife left my alone with a billfold full of money at the Tiki Bar during a wet t-shirt contest...theres just to much to choose from and I think all that have been picked are such great classics...I guess fresh off my mind being the absolute Notre Lame hater that I am is this....
