In this particular case, I think you can.....

Weis did a good job as OC at New England and the year he spent in Kansas City. He did not do so good at nd and Florida as the head coach or OC. Some guys are meant to be an assistant coach and some guys are meant to be a head coach. IMO, Weis is a better assistant than he is a head coach. Of course, going to Kansas, where basketball is king is not going to hurt him either. All I can say is prove me wrong at Kansas Coach Weis.
