šŸˆ GAME THREAD Week Three- SEC / NCAA Games of the Week TV -- (Who is on upset alert this weekend? Dare I say, Notre Dame?)

So you bet based off of last year's team?

Sounds like you have it figured out. I remember this QB at A&M and something tells me he's not met the right defense yet. May not happen in Ames but I also don't see him running the table. Losing the best back in football this year won't help either.

I happen to think Trey Sermon could be better than Anderson. He's only a Sophomore and reminds me of TJ Yeldon, from his number, his ability to not take big hits, and just how difficult he is to bring down. Murray was at A&M three years ago. A lot happens between that 1st and 3rd year of eligibility. Just look at our own team and how guy's aren't seeing the field till their Junior year. I don't think they run the table, but I also don't think Iowa State can keep up with them. Oklahoma took Kiffin to the woodshed, and let UCLA score late which turned it into only a 28 point victory. I just don't think Iowa State can hang, especially after losing to Iowa 13-3 and only having played one game this year. Oklahoma's receivers are too good as well. We will see though, just thought it was a spread that was a lot smaller than I figured it would be.

It's at Ames and I hope you did your exhaustive research on the Cyclones too. They have Kyle Kempt coming back and he made a name for himself against the Sooners last year. They lost a tough game to an arch rival on the road. Iowa State's first game for all practical purposes was canceled due to lightning at the start of the game so this is really their first game at the friendly confines.

Yeah, he did have a great year last year. Killed me because I lost some money to them against Memphis in their Bowl Game last season and he definitely beat me that game with his ability to make some plays. I think Oklahoma is a team that has taken a backseat in a lot of people's mind because they lost the Heisman Trophy winner, but I think their roster is good enough to beat Ohio State again. We will see. These are the games that make college football so much more intriguing than the NFL, the much unknown and who will show up on any given Saturday.
