Baylor, ranked 25th last week, hangs neck and neck with #7 WVU and drops out of the poll. :chat_headscratch:

Boggles the mind doesn't it?

I have a question though for anyone that may know. When was the last time a team was a unanimous #1 in the AP during the regular season, disregarding final polls when seasons are finished. If I had to guess, it'd be USC during Reggie Bush's tenure, but I could be way off. I'm just kind of curious.

Week 15 last year. LSU had all 60 first place votes ending the season in the AP. They did in week 14 as well before facing UGA and probably several weeks before that.

4 of the top 6 teams are from the SEC, and 5 of the top 10.

We control out own destiny, but it sure would be nice for someone to sneak up on FSU and/or Oregon. FSU's cake walk annoys the crap out of me. Oregon atleast plays a respectable schedule...hopefully they'll trip up in one of their games, but I just don't see FSU losing, unless the Gators can take care of that.

I haven't been too impressed with Florida St. either, they are good but I think they give up too many points to have as good a defense as they are touted as having. Not sure if the Gaytors can beat them or not but at least it is their last game of the season so they should be at the top of their game so to speak. I'm just not sure what to think of Oregon, that offense always looks good but the D is suspect. I would like to see us play them.

WVU goes to Texas and Texas Tech in back to back weeks. That should tell everyone a little more about them as a team. No doubt their defense sucks (106th in the nation)!! FSU still looks to have an easy road, but trips to Miami and Va Tech along with season finale with UF could trip them up. Now I know Miami and Va Tech are both struggling but FSU still has that ability to be FSU and screw it up. As for Oregon, trips to Arizona State, USC, and the trip over to Corvallis at the end of the year could be the stumbling block for the Ducks. Lswho looks like they could go down to UF this weekend. Their offense looks like John L Smith has left the Hogs and driven down to BR to moonlight as their OC. Mettenberger looks like an extra for any Zombie movie you would like to name here. He moves slow and looks to think a little slow as well. We control our own destiny. Injuries and our own mishaps will be our undoing to keep us from #15!!

Being from New Jersey, it's nice to see Rutgers succeeding.

It will be interesting to see which of the top 10-12 teams finally lose and lose their unbeaten record.

Did anyone catch the Stanford-Washington game? That was INTENSE. I enjoyed the 'Blackout of the Century' as well, the fans really lent a hand to the home team! It's nice to see Washington back in the rankings. They are probably my favorite Pac-12 team.

Speaking of Washington, I still say one of my dreams is to see an Alabama team play a Washington team for the national championship in the Rose Bowl. How freaking awesome would that be? Likely to happen? Probably not anytime soon, but a man can dream!

Haha, that would be nice alright. I have always respected Washington's fan base: very passionate, even when they stink. It would be cool to see two devoted fan bases in one bowl, split evenly crimson and purple. It would also be cool to see Washington steal the Pac-12 from Oregon haha.

No one in the top 10 really had an impressive week...LSU probably the worst of them all, that UF game is going to be very interesting, see if UF's defense can stand the running game and how Driskel does against the pass rush of LSU.

Texas also does not look like a top 10 team, I think history may repeat itself in the Red River Rivalry, Oklahoma coming off of a bye week with a chip on their shoulder.
