A prime example of when sports and politics got mixed and a 'gig' took a nosedive like a Japanese kamikaze pilot. All over a statue.

Before the season I came across a podcast where he was with two or three other co-hosts. I didn't watch. I can't remember a thing about it other than it existed.

His schtick was wore slap out well before he took to the B'ham streets to fight the statues. At least with me. Nothing against him, the material to work with is a shallow pool, so after a while it's going to dry up. It happens to the others that attempt it as well, at least IMO. I will say, I've seen him around town some and at games and he is always very cordial with fans who stop him and want a photo and such. I don't think he's a bad guy, I just don't really find him funny.

The satire skits normally lose me after two or three times seeing them. SEC Shorts has been on the brink for two years, I'm guessing. This one I heard because of my queue on YouTube: it was the next one up 'they' thought I should watch.

The Derek Dooley bits did make me snicker a bit.
