There was already a large contingent of prominent money people who wanted him gone after the Iron Bowl. The SEC title is now out of reach (as the great Rod Gilmore told us time after time after time...), so after (at least!) tamu, Jawja, and Bama blow the barn out of the stadium, he'll have lost pretty much every bit of the support he could have kept.

The one great thing Gus Gus has done for the barn (so far) is to keep the gag on his crazy wife.

I was telling people when he was hired that it wasn't going to last long. Everywhere he goes it lasts a few years before everything goes to hell. Sure it has always seemed to be right after he left so people could say it was him leaving that caused it but it was obvious that his entire system relied on a freak at QB and a good line to make things work. And he just isn't capable of recruiting the right players to maintain it more than very short term.

Coaches who should be worried are Mason and Bielema.

Mason and Bielema are approaching scalding hot seats, while the novelty of Malzahn's HS style has made his seat warm. His offense requires an ATHLETE at QB that can be a legit threat as a runner. He doesn't have that now, so teams can concentrate on two threats in the run game, the jet motion and the handoff to the RB beside the QB. I never saw the hype about them coming into the season.
