Maybe I've heard this before. Probably. But seeing the name SunFlower Showdown through me for a loop. Did you know the annual Kansas vs Kansas State game went by that moniker?
I see it applies to basketball as well and I KNOW I've watched the two teams play.
Now, I have heard Governor's Cup before.

Fuck around, find out principle. I can't remember which, but it was one of the 11-15th commandments before Moses dropped the tablet.
These fans do not need to be on the field period. Doesn't justify it but stop that and problem goes away. Players are young and emitional right after a game. Fans can be stupid and say stupid things so you get stuff like this. Keep people off the field...
