Been crappy ALL week. I forget what the sun looks like!

I live in central PA, 40 miles south of State College and I work for Penn State. The main rains for State College came thru on Tuesday, but there have been showers off and on the last 2 days and expect some more today. anyone coming to the game should see this advisory that PSU sent out:

Due to the wet rainy conditions, several of the typical areas used for football parking will not be available. As many of you may have read on PSU Live, a variety of satellite parking areas are going to be utilized for Saturdays game day parking. In addition, several campus parking areas will be impacted.

On a typical football Saturday, many of the campus parking lots are reserved for event parking, and a permit is required, with current PSU parking permits being valid for parking in faculty/staff parking lots located west of Bigler Road. However, with the need for additional ADA and RV parking, the following adjustments will be made:

The IST section of Lot Red A will be closed beginning at 4:00 p.m. Friday and all vehicles (including department vehicles) must be removed by 6:00 p.m. Any vehicles remaining in the lot will be removed at the owners expense. Signage is already in place reflecting this information.

Beginning at 12:01 a.m. Saturday September 10, 2011, the East Parking Deck will be reserved for ADA parking only. A current ADA placard must be present to access the East Deck. All vehicles displaying a current permit (any type) and an ADA placard will be allowed to park at no additional charge. Anyone with a current ADA placard but no permit, will be charged the football event fee of $40.00 per vehicle.

The Orange A parking lot at the Katz Building will be reserved for football parking beginning at midnight Friday night, all department vehicles must be removed from the lot.

Please contact the Parking Office with any questions.
