šŸˆ Was it my imagination or did the line play better with Chad Lindsay?

I was a few more beers into it then but I thought the same thing. He seemed very vocal calling checks and somewhat comfortable. Looks like Kelly will be out a few weeks so we shall see.

I watched him closely when he came in. He played great in my opinion. I'm not sure if it had a huge difference as I wasn't focusing on Kelly as much prior to him getting hurt. But overall the offense played much better in the second half and probably the most complete game we've played as a team overall, especially in the second half. We still have a lot of work to go but I thought the team responded well to the half time adjustments. If this team can hit on all cylinders this season they will be amazing! Maybe they finally clicked and they can build on it each game.

Jackson really broke out tonight. We needed a freshman to step up and he came up big many times tonight! Glad he did not get ejected over that damn targeting crap.

Hats of yet the team and fans for a big win tonight!! Roll Tide guys 4-0!! :a:

Lindsay benefited from coming in to a game where the Rebs were beat down a little bit, but things DID seem to run smoother except for his penalty... He's big enough, seems to have a head on his shoulders, so we'll see...

Dont think it was a situation where they just played better as a unit because of Lindsay, more so Ole Miss was just really fired up early and we wore em down. Lindsay definitely played well tho, was really surprised by his performance.

I think so but the issue is why?

Could it be that he is better? He may not be a good practice player but performed well in the game. Only time will tell as Kelly is gone.

Could it be that the line concentrated more, since the lead center was out? I certainly think this did have something to do w/ it. They realized that their chain could be weakened & they stepped it up.

Could it be that the Offensive coordinator called plays easier to produce? Possibly, only because if the play calling could make it easier for Lindsey wouldn't you think Nussmier would?

I was kinda thinking the same thing last night. Then again, it couldve also been the fact that there is a construction crew rebuilding the locker room today after our gun powder laced headcoach had a nuclear come apart at halftime. He looked like he couldnt WAIT to get in there and start swinging. Lol. He was damn near shaking talking to the field reporter at the half. I know we have seen him pissed many times before but DAYUM. :icon_eek:
