šŸŒŽ Wall to Wall: Russia, Russia, Russia. This Ukraine mess, what's your feelings on the matter?

I can’t understand why we don't TRADE For our weaponry and foreign aid packages…Trump is 100% correct that the Ukrainians should pay us back… They have the rare earth minerals and other natural resources we need!… We should never give any money or hardware in this country away for free, ever..UNLESS the foreign country Completely cancels all of our outstanding debts…AND ENDS ALL TARRIFS..A country that is $36 trillion in debts and liabilities can’t give anything away..

We should never give any money or hardware in this country away for free
Nothing is ever given away by governments for free. The compensation and attached strings manifest in a myriad of ways. The question is, do the benefits outweigh the costs. Since the end of the Cold War many experts have warned against the expansion of NATO and of US security guarantees eastward, predicting it would only worsen relations with a more manageable post-Soviet Russia. And yet here we are. Stability, intranational and international alike, is always enhanced by distributing power regionally. Remote monopolistic authorities can only survive by force and violence. People are more likely to accept and respect political authority if they are local and representative.

Just Wondering… we have multiple zones in this country that are catastrophically damaged by fire or weather… Has our Government ever sought foreign aid and foreign military help for our citizens?… has the United States ever demanded the United Nations to send troops and aid , to Florida, California, or North Carolina? (And other areas maybe not so widely reported).. if not when are they?… it seems like every time something happens. Our country gives aid and uses our military to assist other countries and governments…So it’s time for a return on our investments..(I already know the answers)… but maybe they should be asked to your senators and representatives.. hell even our president..

So it’s time for a return on our investments
ā€œWeā€ have been receiving ā€œreturnsā€ on our ā€œinvestments.ā€ Trump misleads the public by claiming America has been exploited by other countries. Take for instance the single privilege of issuing, enforcing, and imposing the world’s reserve currency: that always comes with benefits, albeit not doled out equally among us all. The ability to have access to cheaper credit than foreigners and to have a virtual limitless central bank are massive ā€œreturns.ā€ But the catch is that we must share these returns among allies to keep the system afloat. And it means we must continue to intervene internationally to continue to forge partnerships abroad to keep USD supremacy intact. It’s just that over time imperialism has yielded diminishing returns, as it always does. Somewhere along the century long path of ā€œsearching for monsters to destroy,ā€ the costs began to exceed the benefits. The emergence of BRICS is proof that a majority of the planet has grown tired of this arrangement. For the love of god, I wish a reporter with balls would ask Trump the following question: if Americans have been ripped off by the status quo as badly as he claims, then why has the world been trying to exit the existing international trade and financial system, which we control? You’d think they’d want to preserve the status quo if Americans were getting the lesser end of the stick.

The truth is, Trump is blaming others for what our government is responsible for. You need only to look at the richest counties in the country and their proximity to the Capitol and to Wall St.

It is my belief that most of the people of the world are enslaved by the central bank. Who print money (backed by what?) and give peoples of the world the privilege of spending it. With of course having to pay it back with interest. We are slaves to them.

President Trump wants us to get away from the federal reserve note (central bank) and go back on the gold standard, not beholding to the central bank.

We are slaves to them.
I don’t disagree. But my point was to emphasize that there have been some perks to being the hegemon since Bretton Woods. It has enabled our masters to leave us with more scraps from their table as they feast. But being at perpetual war and in a continuous state of crisis of one sort or another brings with it its own costs, which over time destroys the host as well as its enemies. No society can be healthy that chooses unnecessary wars over peace, unilateralism instead of multilateralism, and sanctioning, bombing, invading, and overthrowing rather than diplomacy and respect for the sovereignty of others.

Rumors are sales of monopoly board games are in the tank… Hundreds of thousands of them are in a warehouse just collecting dust… Let’s send Ukraine all of them… Then they may have something to do… AND HAVE money about as worthless as ours will be soon…WE ARE 36 TRILLION IN DEBT…

The weapons aren’t even going to the Ukrainians… They are reselling them all to the highest bidders..100 percent profit on free stuff…and we are broke…
In my opinion...

Is there a point to saying, "something is fucked up?"
Yes.

Is there anything that makes me jump at ideas that suggest this?
No.

Am I suggesting there's a story about the weapons left overseas and this is where we are?
Yes.

The Brits will get slaughtered by Russia… Just like the North Koreans are getting slaughtered by the Ukrainians… Neither country have a clue how to fight over there, (Nor the USA)…Now when we get over there the Russian speakers (In Ukraine) will become Viet Cong types…This will make us all glow in the dark…

You are one of the reasons I enjoyed being in the bar business. This little niche of society as well.

Take that as you may...and feel free to quote this. :devilish:

It's at the beginning pages of this thread. The same with how NATO has moved since '91.

Go done the rabbit hole of NATO invading Russia.
