🏈 Video: Saban gives update on Alabama—Injuries, 2014 class status, and more.

Alabama head coachNick Saban had an update on three injured Alabama players at his Nick's Kids charity golf tournament at Old Overton Club.

Saban said cornerback Eddie Jackson (knee surgery), defensive lineman Darren Lake(pectoral) and receiver DeAndrew White (toe) are progressing in their return from injuries which kept them out for most or all of spring practice.

"He's still just rehabbing," Saban said. "He's not full speed. He's not been released to do football-related type activity yet. We're encouraged by the rehab. He's working really hard and doing a good job."

Lake, a rising junior nose guard, had surgery in late March. White had toe surgery in January.

"Both of those guys are doing fine," Saban said. "DeAndrew White's been cleared to do everything. He has done everything in the summer conditioning program and Darren Lake has as well."

Saban said three players from the 2014 signing class had not reported. He didn't give names. BamaOnline reported that Alabama is waiting on running back Bo Scarbrough and defensive linemen Johnny Dwight and Montel McBride.

"Yeah, we have three guys that have not reported for various reasons, and some of those things deal with when they graduate from high school, when they can report, whether they actually get in the window of being able to go first semester," Saban said. "And a couple other guys have to clean up some academic issues. So we'll see how those things go over the course of the summer."
