šŸˆ VIDEO: Alabama Players Have Some Fun with Nick Saban as Vanderbilt Game Ends

There was a lot to smile about on Saturday afternoon for the Alabama Crimson Tide. The country’s number one team completely dismantled Vanderbilt in a 59-0 blowout in Nashville.

With a game like that, there’s plenty of choices for the best highlight, but it was something that happened on the sideline that might have been the top moment from Saturday. As the game was winding down and Alabama was about to take a knee on the Vanderbilt 5-yard line, CBS cut to a shot of Nick Saban surrounded by some of his player as they were having some fun with him.

As the head coach turns back around towards the camera, you can tell he’s enjoying the moment. Check this video out.

That perfectly captured the mood for Alabama and its fans after a game that saw the Tide outgain Vandy by nearly 600 yards and rack up an absurd 38 first downs on a humid day in Vanderbilt Stadium.

The Crimson Tide returns home on Saturday for an 8 p.m. game at Bryant-Denny Stadium against Ole Miss.

No way Bama scores....thats the Fulmer at TN stuff....
So what did they want..????.
......May be one of the great moments they could show for Bama recruiting...
Players and NS .....
Hell yea I would wanna play for that team......

I agree with you, not classy to score there, BUT - they may have wanted that for Ronnie Clark, after all that he had been through, and since he was doing so well. IF so, great for Saban to show that you still stay classy, and that the team comes before the individual no matter what.

@50+yeartidefan I agree with you on this. I know Coach Saban doesn't like running the score up. I didn't like that Bama was taking a knee from behind the line, because Bama was so close to the goal line. Bama had too, if Bama hadn't our rushing yards would had been over 500 yards. I hope these guys save some of this for Ole Piss.

With all of the bad luck that Ronnie Clark has had in his career at UA, 2 years lost to 2 torn achilles injuries, they were likely begging CNS to give Ronnie a shot at scoring. CNS was likely telling them, "we will get him 1 next week!"

Which is more demoralizing? Scoring again when you're up 59-0 or getting to the 5-yard line and running plays that have no hope of scoring?

If all remember.....Bama did that to AU also a few years ago.....
I think Bama hadn't had a 100 yd rusher vs them.....Bama took a knee...
There was. Afew seconds left...Nick was furious the officials hadnt let the
clock run out...AU ran a play and their aback got the yardage for a 100 yd game...

I thought that wasn't suppose to count in stats....guess I was wrong....
(Pls dont let ms50+ know I admitted to being wrong about something)

If Jalen takes a knee, they won't put that against his rushing stats but it will go against the team. If you look in the box score and look at rushing you'll see all the individual rushing stats and then there will be a line with "TEAM" and it may be something like (-6) or something. That's from kneel downs.

Ok...
Maybe that needs to be changed then...
Be listed under 'mercy' or something.....and be a non- stat ...stat
