When teams like vandy are winning games like this...that's only good for the entire SEC.

I don't have anything against BC.

BUT, I do know one guy here in town that is a BC guy, and he's an absolute prick when it comes to talking about the SEC, and school in the ACC besides BC...condescending a-hole. Period.

We have lunch with the core group of football fans several times a week...and I'm honestly looking forward to Monday and getting back to work. No plans to say a thing to him...I just want to sit back, listen, and smile.

I also wonder how much of this ACC vs SEC crap will be spewed early next week.

Their "good team" sure haven't looked that good against the middle of the pack SEC this post season.

Even though I'm a critic of his x's and o's from time to time. I'm happy for Bobby Johnson. I'm fortunate enough to get to hear his weekly radio segments and frequent interviews here in Nashville.

He seems to be a very humble, sincere and just plain nice man. He has a dry wit and a great sense of humor. Every Vandy player I've ever spoken to has nothing but good things to say about him.

It's nice to see a good guy win a big game once in awhile. Congrats to the 'Dores. I hope it's the first of many bowl wins.

My brother is a anesthesiologist at Vanderbilt, so I've kind of become a Dores fan by default. Was awfully happy to see them win yesterday.

As an added bonus, Utah now has the longest bowl winning streak in the country. Whether that is long or short lived will be determined tomorrow.

I lived in Nashville the last time the Dores went to a bowl game in 1982 and got beat by Air Force. Music City will be rocking for several days. Way to go Vandy!

I've been a Vandy fan since 1995 when I had some friends playing there. Last year we even bought season tickets. So I was happy to see them win! Been a long time coming!
