I’ll also say, I’m excited for DeBoer, don’t take this as me not supporting him or the program. He is as good of a choice to replace the goat as we could have asked for. But at the same token, one of the areas he has struggled in - so far - seems to be discipline. There’s a huge contrast between him and Saban in this area, so maybe it’s just a huge swing from what we’ve been used to as of recent. But for an area that certainly doesn’t seem like it’s a strength of his - to just say ‘meh, it’s Vandy, this what bottom feeders do’…

You'll have to run the search. I can point to '24 and it was somewhere around fall camp. I'm leaning towards September. Saban, quite openly, supported Ryan and his podcast. He and Mbakwe had been talking about it, mentioned it to CNS, and were told to go for it mentioning the NIL era they were entering. (I don't know the status, but at that time there were plans on building studio's like this in the NIL center: per Saban.)

The arena has changed. Yes. But let's not forget this is something that Saban supported and encouraged.

He lost the starting job last season at BC and transferred to FSU (not exactly happily.)

Now, add Gus to the mixing bowl and you get this loaf of shit-talk. (Of note, best game against Mizzou. There's a tell there; 3:2. Last year Mizzou finished 14:7 ... pretty good defense.)
