🏈 Utah offense

For those who watched the Holiday Bowl last night, Oregon runs the same offense as Utah. That read option is our bread and butter play. Brian Johnson isn't as big as Masoli, but I think he's a bit shiftier but bit faster, and is definitely a better passer. Asiata and Blount are very similar in their size and style. Mack is slightly smaller and runs a tad faster, but he's still a big back.

It makes sense since Ludwig used to be the OC at Oregon before he came to Utah.

Anyway, just an FYI.

I wouldn't try to extrapolate anything too meaningful from the fact that Oregon runs the same type of offense as Utah. At least, not in terms of comparisons to the Sugar Bowl game. Oklahoma State's defense (86th) is nowhere near the caliber of Alabama's defense (3rd).

I'm sure we do a lot of things different than Oregon because our personnel are different.
