By the way, one thing that is a bigger joke than the point spread being TX -10 in this game was the TX fans in attendance chanting, "SEC, SEC, SEC" after the game was over.

Seriously 'Horns. You just beat a team that has won ONE conference game in the last two years. And, that's setting aside the fact that your own team has been just ONE game over .500 the last two seasons.

I've been giving some longhorn fans hell over the SEC chant, one reply - at least we beat an SEC team before TAMU - I said, how cute - Texas has a little brother complex - when was the last time TAMU was relevant.

Gosh, good question.

IF preseason polls mean a thing, Ole Miss has been relevant more recently than A&M—Javon Snead era.

Texas, blah...

When was the last time you remember Texas not being in the Top 5 to 10 in recruiting and yet they have to celebrate wins over teams like Ole Miss?

I would love to know the record between the Big 12 and the SEC when both teams were ranked?
The Big 12 and the Pac 10 always point to their records against the SEC and say, see we are not that bad, we beat this SEC team or that SEC team. What they fail to mention is that they were USC or Texas ranked in the Top 10 when they did it and the SEC team was someone like Ole Miss or Arkansas under Houston Nutt or Hugh Freeze.

Big12 vs SEC in the BCS era favors the SEC. I believe the number was 20-28.

Goodwin was saluting the Marine (non-officer) for which he took offense and disrespected. They take that stuff seriously as you can see. That's why you see him shouting "Nooooo!" to Goodwin.

Both the player and the Marine embarrassed themselves over it.

Do what?

He's a non-com, but still a Gunnery Sargent.

I don't see anything that resembles a salute from the players right arm. And, if you look, if this is between those two why on earth is the player looking at the crowd instead of the Gunny? And, why did the Gunny step in front of him.

Because that is what is being reported it seems. It appears to be a salute to me. Goodwin's right arm appears to come down from a salute gesture, whether to the crowd or the marine not sure. Watching it closely as the Marine steps across even his right arm quickly swipes upward and then shouting "Nooo!" as if gesturing and telling him he isn't allowed to salute, especially him. I see no other reason that would of caused the reaction.
