So is this a move due to the racial tension going on right now, the fact they are allowing guys to profit off their likeness now, short term American memory, or simply because they truly feels he belongs around the program?

I think the current environment we're looking at has something to do with it, but I also think him being on Fox that USC sees him potentially boosting exposure to a program they are trying to get back to Tier 1 status.

I don't know of any fans who were supporting overly harsh sanctions. I do know A LOT of Bama fans who didn't feel sympathy ... a little empathy, maybe? A lot of fans remembered how others supported the overly harsh sanctions we all endured as fans.
