🏈 USC hiring Washington coach Steve Sarkisian, according to report

The people at USC (other individuals besides Pat Hayden gave input on this hire) do have vast experience with Sark. Just because the AD has zero experience does not equate to an entire Athletics Department.

I don't know if this is the case or not. If I read you correctly earlier it was your assertion that Hayden had vast experience with Sark.

Hayden has no experience with Sark. The compliance director responsible for football, liaison if you will, was hired by Hayden; no experience with Sark. (There were two new hires in that department when Hayden took over.)

He (Sark) may know others in the Athletic Department, but as far as working relationships? I don't know of a single one.

History will judge if Sark is the right hire. Everything I've seen and heard tells me they are trying to live in the Carroll era—Kiffin, Orgeron, and now Sark prove such.

I'm shocked. I thought they would go after someone like Jame Franklin who's ego sort of fits L.A. Chris Peterson will never move out to the big city (and I'm saying this as he's taking an interview with Washington in Seattle), so they might as well drop those rumors. All I know is the fans of USC are not too satisfied with the hires.

I'm still saying that Charlie Strong will be the next HC at Texas.
