One of the stories about Con and Sark revolves around their meet and greet times with boosters. By "boosters," think along the lines of old school USC money. While you wouldn't expect an assistant to coach to be wearing a suit and tie, you can expect all those looking to glad hand with the head coach are dressed; ladies dressed to the nines.

Sark and Con in ragged out jeans, t-shirts. One of those shirts wasn't even USC related but I can't recall which coach it was. These two, standing off to themselves, drankin'. Now, I know how Con drinks. On those "Cruisin' with the Tide" events Con drinking a case of beer sitting out on one of the decks was commonplace.

Say what you will about Pete Carroll ... he did a masterful job managing that staff he had when he was there.

He did.. Was on scholly at UCLA, just quit last week to pursue his "production" company/career aspirations. Made it through about 3 weeks of college football...
