I'd be surprised if he accepts this right now, as OSU is now facing a "failure to monitor" charge.

Maybe when the dust settles he might jump on this opportunity, but to jump in the sinking ship is not a sound coaching decision, but I guess $6m can make anything seem sound.

I say that his ego couldn't handle not being the big man in the conference. In the Big 10, there is really only a resurging Michigan and a consistent Wisconsin team to deal with. Nebraska is good but they aren't great. He will be the premier coach there (imo).

This story is all the buzz here in Ohio but nothing is official yet. Talked with a friend of a friend this morning and he is saying its a done deal, just waiting on this weekends game to be over. I will not be suprised with whatever decision he makes.
