PS - The Constitution does NOT "guarantee" that all men are created equal. That's the Declaration of Independence. The Constitution enacts into law the formation, structure and authority of the federal government (a democratic republic) and the rights of the individuals and, in some instances, the states. The Constitution and Bill of Rights were and remain beautifully and artfully crafted documents. The problems have not been with their language but rather enactment and enforcement.
Which unfortunately is the measure of the law and the man. The integrity of what you say and teach has to be put in practice or you end up with the same hypocritical society we end up talking about as inferior to ours. Finding winsome words to motivate the masses isn't that hard because logical answers to everyday problems aren't that complicated. Common sense will do the trick most of the time. The problem has been all along getting enough honest people together at the same time to simply carry out what we said we would do. And that's, unfortunately, the true measure of the law.
