College Finder, a database from Global Scholar giving students the opportunity to compare schools across the nation, ranked the most beautiful campus around the US. Among some very prestigous schools, the Capstone comes in 12th and the highest among SEC schools.

The 1,000 acre University of Alabama campus features several buildings in the Greek Revival style. Campus landmarks include the the Amelia Gayle Gorgas Library, the President’s Mansion (survived the Civil War) and Denny Chimes.

The University of Alabama most assuredly deserves to be on this list, it’s southern charm and large area (1,000 acres) make it a perfect spread for the Greek Revival style that has been incorporated into many of the buildings.

P.S Christy, if you are implying in your above comment that perhaps Auburn is the most beautiful campus in the state then you must be mistaken, we all know that Auburn is in Georgia.

The first two I thought of were Pepperdine and Stanford. I see they both made the top 5.

There's something about a good old Southern university campus, though. I think Ole Miss should have made the list as well.
