Could someone please explain to me why Marshall is an 11 point favorite over La Tech?

Marshall just lost to Western Kentucky. La Tech beat WKU 59-10. FORTY NINE POINTS! SEVEN TOUCHDOWNS!

Line opened at 14, so I am not the only one thinking this way.

I think Marshall has pretty much handled the rest of their schedule and the stats they put up probably led to this, along with their record. Just my opinion without breaking it down.

IMO,
1. Marshall should have won against WKU.
2. They were looking past last weeks game to the championship.
3. Marshall is better than many realize.
4. My news comes out of Huntington, W.V. so that is all I hear...Marshall this and Marshall that. ENOUGH!

Remember, The Herb escaped Birmingham a couple weeks ago, barely. And if I'm not mistaken, they were upset in this game by Rice last year. They got stomped. I realize this is a different team. But the close call at UAB and the loss last week should hurt their line The first 10 games they murdered teams this year. I'm like you, getting the points sure looks like free money, but it may be a sucker bet.
