Sonny Dykes may have wondered about Northwestern, but Dabo Swinney doesn't need to 'wonder.' Watch this Georgia player. (Update: Though the video doesn't show it, a UGA fan tweets to me that the particular player was attempting to get off the field due to a groin injury, but felt he couldn't make it. At the least, it leaves people skeptical.)

This is from a few days ago where Solomon penned a piece about Herbie saying teams were practicing faking injuries

Happens all the time against the hurry up. Northwestern had 2 guys that literally both went down with "injuries" at least 5 times only to walk to the sideline to get no attention from trainers. It worked too, one time when they messed up the momentum they ended up getting a pick 6 on the next play.

I guess the faking of injuries practice occurred when Richt cancelled a practice to take the team swimming! He was simply game planning! A helmet popping off will slow it down in a heartbeat. The officials are going to stop play to have the player in question removed, so why not do it.
