Regular Monday press conference cancelled, which they never do there. Some folks who cover them seem to have an idea of whats going on, but most are in the dark apparently. Could they be firing Muschamp after a win? Is the program about to be embarrassed in some other manner? Stay tuned I suppose...

That one is going to sting. Chances are, Muschamp makes it past this weekend. LSwho looks GAWD AWFUL!!!!! I can't remember the last time I have seen an LSwho team look this bad. Maybe under Gerry DiNardo.

UF statement: Treon Harris is accused of sexually assaulting a female student early Sunday morning in a residence hall on the UF campus.

^^ ohhhhhhhhhh so THIS is how you handle this sort of situation .. Guess it's different when the QB isn't a Heisman / national championship contender ..

As odd as it was for them to cancel, you have to appreciate them doing so in effort to get all their ducks in a row before this hit the media outlets.

I'm not suggesting there's ever a good time for this type of assault, but good god!! Winston, the NFL...geez.

This is a rebuilding year at LSU for sure and that was expected after two straight years of massive junior-class losses to the NFL. But its not quite so bad as 1999 under Dinardo. There is a lot of young talent on this LSU team that is getting experience the hard way. 4-2 is the worst start for LSU since Dinardo, but those two losses came against the current #2 and #3 teams in the nation. LSU will take more losses this season, but that is a long way from 3-8.

I'm betting @uagrad93 was referring to one game, not this season as a whole. Though I wonder what "identity" the LSU staff sees in their football team. Hell, wonder the same about 80%+ of FBS this year.

I've seen the word parity thrown around a lot. I'm not buying that description—I'm seeing a lot of what I'd called watered down football this season. There are a ton of average teams, a handful of what I'd call good teams, but nary a team I'd call close to great.

Now that I think about it red, I'm inclined to start believing the FBS as a whole is struggling for that "identity." Saban made a comment this week that he never thought the I-form and regular defense would be an anomaly in collegiate football. I knew it was something we wouldn't see much of, but never considered it to have become so passĆØ.
