The umpire behind the plate was terrible today. "Pat" or whatever his/her name was was very inconsistent. I was afraid Bama would let their emotions get the better of them. Great game. RTR

I'd say they did. And, you saw it with Kayla's dinger.

BTW, when Murph was talking to the ump I could hear the fans chanting in the background. It almost sounded like LSU, LSU, LSU...

It couldn't be anything related to Cal considering it's UofCal.

Arizona State still had fans there, I assume, but would they be chanting ASU?

I wish I had it on the DVR...I'd like to listen to it again to see what I was hearing.

I said it before the WCWS started based on what I saw out of the regionals and super regionals. OU is playing the best ball out there right now.

It is going to take a phenomenal effort for Bama to win this.

Either way great game, our fans drowned out CAL, the softball team was phenomenal in the "spot", they deserve to be in the National Championship. I will say this though, this Oklahoma team is really dangerous. One of the best pitchers in softball along with that they're hitting fairly well (98 homeruns). Hoping for a great entertaining game against OU and hopefully we'll be talking about our 4th NCAA Championship after its all said in done.
