Which team do you think should have won this?
I don't know, Ricky. I see this award almost like the big ole boot they give to the winner of the LSU vs Arkansas game--made up rivalry with a useless trophy.

Last year was the first year of the award. Bama won it, was a finalist this season as well, but that has nothing to do with my impression of this award.

Last year Notre Dame was one of the finalist. That caught my eye especially given their four win season. Michigan State was there, Arkasas was as well. Iowa snuck in last year with one or two other teams.

Iowa got it this season largely due to their injuries. They had a different OL starting in 80% of their games as I recall. It's a nice, feel-good story. Bottom line remains they were playing 2's and 3's and their production was piss poor.

I guess it all boils down to what this means:

The award annually recognizes the nation’s Most Outstanding Offensive Line Unit that best displays Toughness, Effort, Teamwork, Consistency, Technique, and “Finishing”.

You know what @TerryP some of these awards that are giving out, I'm like :headscratch: my head wondering why? Thanks for your input, I come here to really get all my news on Bama sports and those other team here first.
