Not sure if you think I was disagreeing to it meaning anything or not. I think it does so we are aligned. It is about more than the playoffs. It matters to the players and the fans. If we did not make it and then did make the playoffs I can live with that also but we should not shy away from it and actually prefer making the SEC championship...

I was agreeing with you. Just sharing that for me personally it meant a lot to bolster your point. The one with Bryce where we "had no shot" and I think you were one of the few here that called it, was massive as well. It's to a point where we don't want to give an inch to anyone that wants to intrude on our greatness. Georgia is a threat, so every matchup means a lot. Texas, we owe their butt's for last year and coming in to our home and spanking us. I wanna knock them down a peg so they don't roll in like A&M did into the SEC, beating us, and then thinking they own the conference.

As with everything, there’s advantages and disadvantages, but I want my team to have the mentality of wanting to win their conference championship. Injuries happen, and we’re certainly increasing the chances of those happening.

I think overall the positives outweigh the negatives - national exposure is something Bama fans take for granted nowadays. And also, it’s a chance to get better before the playoffs.

I am confused also which is why I had to go read context. I argued there is more reasons than just needing a quality win to go to the SEC Championship game. I was disagreeing with that position. At this point all of this is a don't care after tonights pathetic performance.
