Some interesting stats from all of the games this year.
Clemson: Senior quarterback John Parker Wilson's 1-yard touchdown plunge accounted for more rushing yards than what Clemson accumulated in the entire game, 0. Running backs James Davis and C.J. Spiller, who last season combined for an average of 140.9 yards per game, finished with 20.

Tulane: Tulane had the ball inside the Alabama 30 five times, yet never reached the end zone and missed two of field-goal attempts. In that part of the field, Tulane executed 13 offensive plays and achieved just two first downs. FYI, the Tide defense has yet to give up a touchdown this season.

Western Kentucky: The Crimson Tide has yet to yield 100 rushing yards to an opponent this season. Saturday's 42 net yards was a yard under its average, 43.0. Also, the Hilltoppers averaged just 1.9 yards per carry.

Arkansas: Alabama hasn't trailed at all this season. The Crimson Tide has outscored its opponents in the first half 64-0, including 13-0 Clemson, 13-0 Tulane, 17-0 Western Kentucky, and 21-0 Arkansas. The Tide led at halftime Saturday 35-7, for a four-game advantage of 102-20. Aided by a roughing the kicker penalty, Alabama also scored on its opening possession for the third time.

Georgia: Not only has Alabama not trailed this season, but the opposition has managed to stay tied for just 26 minutes and 34 seconds out of a possible 300 minutes in five games. The Tide has outscored opponents 74-0 in the first quarter, and 133-20 in the first half.

Kentucky: Alabama had 200 offensive yards was averaging 10.1 yards per carry when junior left tackle Andre Smith sprained his left elbow with 11:11 remaining in the second quarter. The rest of the game, the offense had 188 yards, and averaged 3.8 yards per carry.

Ole Miss: The Crimson Tide has been outscored 61-13 in the second half of the last three games. Considering Alabama has a 69-3 advantage in the first half, opponents know they can still get back in games.

Tennessee: Tennessee's first six plays in Alabama territory - after a fumble and a partially blocked punt - resulted in minus-6 yards.

Arkansas State: Alabama ended its nine-game losing streak in the month of November, which dated back to Nov. 5, 2005 at Mississippi State and was also a shutout (17-0). Additionally, including last season's victory at the Independence Bowl it was Alabama's 10th straight win, the Tide's 21st such streak in team history and first since 1993-94 (12-0).

LSU: Thanks to his 54-yard touchdown, senior safety Rashad Johnson finished with 64 return yards. Only LSU receivers Brandon LaFell and Demetrius Byrd caught more balls from quarterback Jarrett Bell, both with four, and only LaFell had more yards, 74.

Mississippi State: Before Javeir Arenas' return for a touchdown, scored with 12:14 remaining in the third quarter, Mississippi State had outgained the Alabama offense 155 yards to 110. After, the Tide had an advantage of 254-12.

Auburn: In the third quarter, Alabama outscored Auburn 19-0, outgained it 144-29, and the Tigers had more turnovers, two, than first downs, one.

Florida: Alabama, which hadn't lost a game in 378 days, was 9 minutes and 22 seconds away from playing in the national championship.

A couple of those are "ouch" statements.

LSU's has to hurt.

Auburn's...well, that is just funny.

Talk about the proverbial "turning it on?" - See MSU game.

I remember the concern going into the Ole Miss game with that stat...glad to see the team begin to keep the pedal down after that mark in the season.
