And even when the SEC championship game showdown with Florida is looming on the horizon.
Saban was asked to go there Wednesday on the SEC coaches teleconference and essentially did his own Gator chomp at the mere suggestion that there would be any mention of the Gators this week.
"I haven't talked about it, and I'm not going to talk about it," Saban said. "I said in my press conference this week that the only game I'm going to talk about is the game we've got this week.
"So call me back in a couple of weeks."
