Thanks for the videos T&B. I like the emphasis on creating turnovers that Lee talked about and of course getting off the field on 3rd downs. The past 2 years, the defense has been extremely suspect on 3rd downs. Need to do a better job on 1st and 2nd down, so the offense is facing 3rd-and-long as opposed to 3rd-and-short or manageable.

10rc folks used to call 3rd down "3rd and Chavis" because it was his achilles heel. The last 2 years Bama has given up some very suspect third downs and even a few 4th downs. I want to see a return to the days when that "Hell's Bells" boing meant you don't have a chance in hell of making the yardage.

This is statistically always the best way to be successful on 3rd down as a defense; however, last year, I felt more confident on 3rd and 3 than 3rd and 13.
