Alabama doesn't really have the inclination or history to promote a Heisman Candidate. We're not big on catchphrases and cool nicknames that grab the public perception. I will say with the press Tua is getting nationally, he may be one of those rare early candidates that keep momentum throughout the Heisman watch. Most say over and over that being the favorite in Sept/Oct seldom works out for the early leaders in Nov. However, I seem to remember the early lead Lamar Jackson had on the media and even though they lost some critical games down the stretch, he did hang on for the trophy. I don't see us losing those kinds of games so it may be looking pretty good, even without the University hype.
