I am hanging my hat on the team has gotten rest and Writshtsell is back. Hope when it is all said and done that is enough to get back on track.

Hope Griffin gets back also. Need to be full strength.

Not saying Dennis Gates is unplugged or doesn't care, I'm sure he does... but during games he comes across as completely disinterested. Like a sloth, watching his team play basketball.

In my undergrad and postgrad years I remember what it was like watching basketball on Wednesday. In Session 1, there may have been a couple of thousand people in the stands: several hundred of which were UK fans.

Fast forward to a few years ago when Sankey made it a point to emphasize basketball and the SEC.

Session One. Considering the teams that were playing last night, this is a pretty big number: 16.5K+.

Building on this a bit ...

Mizzou went 0'fer in SEC play this season.

BUT, look at a blurb from KenPom on the Tigers ...

"The thing is, while Missouri is not a very good basketball team by SEC standards, they do not actually suck. They beat Minnesota and Pitt in true road games. Those will be better true road wins than a lot of tournament teams. Of the Tigersā€™ 16 SEC losses, nine have been by single digits, and one was in overtime - to South Carolina. As it stands now, Missouri will be the highest-ranked winless team for as long as I have ratings for."
Doesn't matter this morning.

UT -9Ā½
AU -7Ā½
UK -5Ā½
UA -3Ā½

The favored team has won every game.
Every winner has covered except Florida (UGA last night.)
