Tribute Thread for my Mama.. Please Like a page to get $1 donated towards funeral costs

My mother Jackie Pritchett passed away last Sunday. A local law firm has chosen her for their "Likes for a good cause" in which they will donate a dollar for every like their page gets on Facebook.

Please help my family in this time of need.. She was and did everything for us... And we are struggling to pay for her burial. She had chronic emphysema and was suffering the past few years..especially since she found out more than a year ago. Fortunately the Lord took her in her sleep and did not let her go before us in the way I had feared. She lived without oxygen machines and was able to get out and go to the pool and swim like when she was still young. She died of a blood clot in her lung... which traveled from a bad wound to her leg from when she fell a few months ago.

Prayers for you and your family. I was blessed three years ago when mom passed away in her sleep at age 92. The day before she died she was out pulling weeds in her flower bed.

I realize this day can come at any time. I call my parents daily on the way home from work and we talk the entire 30 minute commute. Living away from them is tough as they age, both are in their 80's. I cherish the memories I have and the great example they set on a daily basis.
