Not a argument towards your statement. ...just a quick question I wonder if any paid attention to. ......against OSU on Elliots long TD how many guys did we have out on that particular play.
What's silly?..... it was a question. I didn't say they played dirty or too physical. We were discussing football. And a particular play...or so I thought. But to break down my point, I don't think that play happens if Ragland and Collins are still in. Was VaTech a different team offensively before their QB went down?..... that was my point.
Agree on that. But they won the game fair and square. That cannot be argued using much ration. On the field they beat us. Agree that they had less bumps and bruises, or opportunity for bumps and bruises. Lol But they also lost 2 QBs in the pansy regular season (and preseason) as well. So those losses are bigger than any 1 or 2 player losses we had. But they still won the game and I don't think there was anything unfair about the game or how they won it.
That's pretty well what I said in my post on the preceding page.
I said, "it could be argued ..." I didn't say, "I'm arguing they ..."
In my opinion there's been too much made of the OSU QB's and this game. As example, those who have described Cardale as this guy who has only started in a few games while ignoring the point he'd been in the program for how long? (Not to mention he had a GREAT HS coach to nurture his talent.)
In an interview with current Houston HC, Tom Herman, he mentioned OSU's success was largely due to their staff noticing the talent of certain players (or lack of) at certain positions, in crucial situations. (sic) I think your example is a prime example of what he was referring to when he made that comment.
