šŸˆ Trevon Diggs Out Indefinitely With Broken Foot

It didn't take Nick but one play to send to the bench vs Ole Miss and he didn't make it back as a starter. Many good to great DB's have been beaten at Bama but they never got pulled like #4.
Here's a question for you.

Of all the DB's that have been beaten out, how many of those were benched because they quit on a play? With Savion, he literally quit in pursuit. To me, it's not a hard lesson for him to learn.

It's my understanding it wasn't him being beaten that led to the benching, it was him quitting on the play. You and I both know damn well that's not going to sit well with Saban.

FWIW, on the injury with Diggs and others.

From what I've learned I don't expect to see JAD or Wright back this season--those are season ending injuries. I do expect Diggs back, as well as Allen and Lewis.

JMO but I'm not sure #4 has the character needed to start and play for one Nick Saban. He is awfully chippy out there.

If Tony Brown can... #4 will be aight

Dayum! That sucks.

Savion gets his second chance... Time to step up young man! Tear it up
JMO but there is something not quite right about #4 and by that I mean he (to me) gives off this attitude that doesn't match his play. Anybody know the real deal on why he left DBU n Loseranna?

You just pulling that out of thin air or is there some reason you have an issue with his "attitude?"
Again that is my observation from watching this guy play. We'll see for he has a chance to show he belongs. It didn't take Nick but one play to send to the bench vs Ole Miss and he didn't make it back as a starter. Many good to great DB's have been beaten at Bama but they never got pulled like #4.

But your observation based on what? You didn't say anything about his play. You said his ATTITUDE. Saban said explicitly why he got benched against Ole Miss. He put in a bigger, more physical corner to play a bigger, physical receiver. He may not have started since then but hes played in every game.

It's hard to say what we get vs Mizzou with our defensive prowess. But I've already been surprised by our efforts vs Ole Miss on the road. To shut down an elite offense with at least 3 NFL first round picks on it was kinda shocking. That's a game that's kinda getting lost and it really shouldn't. Even LSU gave up 16 points against them at home. I'm guessing this next game could be the tone setter for our guys coming down the stretch.

Does the team wear Nike's? If so, and if possible, its time to replace those d@mn shoes! EVERY patient I have coming in with foot issues wear Nikes. From plantar fasciitis to hairline fractures. Its amazing! And while the stress of athletics and the type of playing surface is strongly correlated with injuries, the fact that seemingly everyone with these injuries wear Nikes has to be more than coincidence. I'm not sure if Asics even makes a football cleat, but I recommend Asics for everyone! It's a better constructed shoe with far better support. Just my opinion.

Doc, not to totally de-rail the thread, but have you ever tried Brooks? I have ran for years and ran in every shoe known to man. I like Asics a lot, but for me Brooks are a better shoe. Asics are my #2. I agree with you on the Nike. They tend to run narrow and put pressure on your feet. Kind of ironic that Phil Knight (former track coach) has a company that puts out 3rd rate running shoes.

Being reported by al.com that Diggs is out for the season, 4-6 months. Supposedly, surgery is set for Friday according to the report but some people claim that "surgery found more issues".
