Not sure losing the weight will help him not hesitate at the LOS, but i sure hope it does. He was my fav RB of all time... Can't believe how he fell off

Unlike Lacy, it was not his size that was an issue, it was his field vision. Lacy needs to lose weight and will be fine. For Trent to ever make a "comeback", he needs to learn field vision. It is something he did not really need in HS or at Bama, due to raw strength and at Bama, a dominating run blocking OL. In the NFL, you will not find a dominating run blocking OL, first it is not something that is valued and they are going up against studs all across the LOS, they will hold their blocks for much less time, so you have to have that vision, see the whole forming and hit it fast.
