I'm not sure what their roster numbers are looking like after the signing day, but I'd bet they are sitting in a similar spot as Bama... spots will have to be culled, either now (after their last game) or in spring.

Texas Signed 24 recruits. Texas Football Transfer Portal 17 players in portal. assume they will lose some to graduation/NFL.
UGA signed 29 recruits. Nine in portal: Georgia Football Transfer Portal Some more will enter portal after playoff. Combined with NFL propsects.... So It's same situation as Alabama.

I am sure the #'s are updated but the ones posted with all the SEC teams had UGA at 4 and Texas at 8. You would think Texas has deep enough pockets to keep everyone but in the end maybe those 8 are not ones they want to keep and would like to bring in better for the money they are willing to spend.

Colorado just signed that big time QB out of the portal. I imagine Julian Lewis will hit the portal very soon. Once again it's hard to get excited about signing an elite 5 star player out of HS when you know that he's just going to transfer out in a year. It's sheer insanity.

He sucked last night against Grayson in their State Championship game. No zip on the ball, threw into coverage, and threw two interceptions in the game. Had five all year before that.

The problem is that these kids don't want competition. They want to be handed the starting job on a silver platter. I can almost guarantee that Lewis will be in the portal before summer.

I don't see that happening. only way he'll hit portal if if Sanders leave next December.
