Someone will need to look up the exact date for the first receiver from UT announcing he was entering the portal. My gut tells me it's been within the last four weeks.

I’ll never understand why elite WRs would want to join a team with a running QB. A running QB will never maximize their passing abilities so long as they know they can fall back on their legs. Which translates into fewer passes thrown their way and more run blocking.

Bama says hello. Blake Simms , Jalen Hurts , Jalen Milroe. And we’ve signed and produced some elite receivers with them guys.

Also just signed the #1 duel threat QB , so i hope we can get a few elites at the WR position.

Again, I'll make the argument that you can have the best QB and wife receivers, but hopefully we can develop some o line and a running game to open up the passing game. Also, I'm hoping that wd can upgrade our defense. A non existent running game and a QB constantly under duress makes even the best passing game difficult to implement

Passing along what my Martin buddy told me. According to Ty’s dad, he’s had some large dollar offers from some power conference schools. I’m sure this isn’t news to anyone, but he also said the coaches want to run a different offense than what we ran this year, but ran this offense because of Milroe. But they’ve said they will not run that next year. Ty’s counting on that and hanging around until the spring and second window. And Milroe will not be back either way. We’ve all heard that on here already.

On the UT boards there are a bunch of folks that believe a number of the WRs have had disagreements with coach Pope, or don’t get along with him. Those guys are saying Matthew’s, the freshman 5 star that hit the portal last night, is trying to work out a new “contract”. So a guy that’s 10th on the team with 90 yards receiving, is renegotiating his NIL contract for more money because 5-6 of the receivers ahead of him are gone. Thats wild!
