If you're watching online (as I know most of you will be doing just that), look no further than Cheserek of Oregon to get the win. King Chez has struggled lately. It won't matter. Maybe we can hope for points in one of the spots 2-8 for Kosgei.

So the ineligible TB is in finals

Looks like Florida and Texas A and M will battle it out for the mens' championship tonight, if they can get by Oregon (King Chez will get 10 more points in the 5000 and Haney will probably get at least eight in the 1500). Florida has three men in the 400. That's good for a minimum of six points if they get the last three spots.

Hate to say it, but Tennessee has several in the finals as well. They could sneak into the top six or so.

Teams of note right now: Oregon 19 points, A and M 10, Tennessee 10, Florida 9. Middle Tennessee State has 6 right now and is guaranteed at least three more points in the 800. MTSU will likely finish ahead of Bama.

After last night's women's competition, Oregon doesn't look like a repeat champion. I'd put my money on Arkansas.

If you get to watch only one event tonight, make it the 800. Jim Ryun's record turned 50 today! Four men in the field have a shot at that. If MTSU's big guy, Rutto, goes out in 50 again, the record could fall. Watch A&M's Brazier or Miss St's McBride.

Teamwise Alabama finishes in 64th place with Tony Brown's three points. The Tide tied Lasalle, South Alabama, Navy, and Eastern Michigan among others.

Florida won the title edging out Arkansas and Texas A&M. Tennesssee did finish sixth. Yuck.

MTSU ended up in 18th place in the team standings.

I missed on Haney from the quote above. He got tangled up in the first lap and almost fell, then never got out of the back of the pack in a race that went much, much faster than championship races usually go.
