so I don't really pay attention to this stuff, figure someone on here can confirm. With all the academic chest beating the other leagues do, I wouldn't have guessed this. I'm shocked.

I don't have anything solid yet, but I am hearing we will struggle to get academic acceptance for current junior college commitments Logan David and Marion Grice of Blinn College because of tougher academic restrictions in the Southeastern Conference than in the Big 12. The Aggies are currently after SDE
Darrington Sentimore
(6'3 273) of Gulf Coast Community College, who recently visited College Station. We've offered 340 pound DT

of Scottsdale CC, and are pursuing current Tennessee commit

. I remain hopeful we're just trying to build much-needed depth on the defensive line, but with Tim DeRuyter taking the Fresno State job, we may see a move to an even-front defense. This concerns me right now, because we lack the personnel for such a scheme.

While I don't know for sure, I'd guess this has to do with the SEC requiring all JUCO players—take Darrington coming out of Gulf Coast as an example—to have graduated from their schools before they would be eligible for SEC play.

His profile says UT has offered. Are they taking a chance thinking he might graduate?
