🏈 Total BS?

Laughable. Promised the assistant coaches anonymity? So, what's that supposed to do for the article/analysis? Why would it matter one iota if we knew who the assistants were? In fact, it would lend credibility to the article if we KNEW who they were. In this case, it works quite to opposite in my opinion. The credibility of their source is blown in first paragraph when he states that McElroy can't beat you - this the week following a game where McElroy did just that. Shoddy. I wasn't impressed at all.

"Greg McElroy is not a good quarterback." :bs: :lance:

and the bs about Cody.

What they said about Cody is true. They just said it in an unflattering manner.

"You pass when [Terrence] Cody is in there. He won't get much of a rush and he'll get fatigued. And when he goes out, you run. You can't really run inside with him because he's hard to double-team. You try to get two people on him and you try to move him and he does a good job of fighting it. You try to do some stuff to make him run."

In other words, stay away from him, even if you have to pass on running downs or run outside when you don't want to do it. The quick passes on early downs in the first half fatigued the LSU DLine.

I totally disagree with the comments about GMac, Julio, and several other comments. True, Cody can't run side to side like a LB, and you do pass when he's in there and run when he's not, but how many teams have done it successfully? This guy makes it sound like all you have to do is look for Cody and do the opposite. I'm pretty sure some one has tried it, and not many have gotten anything from it.

Julio is so much better than AJ Green, who is great, don't get me wrong, but Julio would rather knock you down on a block than put up gaudy stats. When the game is on the line, I'd take Julio any day over AJ.

Whoever said it obviously lost, and no one really came close to beating either team the way the analysis sounds like it's possible. After reading that, you would think that both Fla and we were pushovers who got lucky - definitely NOT the case. He's basically saying that neither team impressed them, it sounds like Dennis Green yelling about the Bears being who they thought they were!

Any chance this wasn't an assistant at all and actually a head coach? Smells a lot like Kiffen to me to be honest. Check out the usage of certain words in the responses. If it isnt Kiffen then it shouldn't take very long to comprise a list of classless assistants around the league that have played both teams this year.

The coaches won't let him screw it up for them.

I think he's really, really good.
-This sounds like a 8 yr old who knows his word generally isnt taken seriously so he must emphasize certain things to show he really means it.

They do some things like Florida where you go, 'Holy cow, that's not very sound.'
- Again sounds exactly like Kiffen and couldn't help himself when the opportunity to jab at FL.

Now that you mention it, I would guess Orgeron. Whoever it is, they have a huge chip on their shoulder, and write checks with their mouth that their a$$ can't cash.
